Fifth Grade- Cityscapes

I The Fifth Grades are doing some amazing drawings that resemble the artist James Rizzi. They are making a CRAZY cityscape that shows background,middle ground, and foreground. They are also letting their Imagination go wild with their doodles in the sky.






Third Grade- Comic Bubble


The Third Grades are learning about one of my favorite Artists. Roy Lichenstein!! His Art is considered POP art and it resembles a comic book theme. The students are making Benday Dots with bubble wrap and choosing their own onomatopoeia to us! 





First Grade-Lines



First Grade is getting messy with some PAINT! We are learning about diffrent types of Lines. We have all passed "Line College" and are on our way to create a MasterPiece!!

Fifth Grade- Pop Candy

The Fifth Grade had a very POPular project dealing with Candy! They went over multiple POP Artists. They also learned how to use and make a viewfinder. That's not all!! They made an OPEN composition and drew form observation! Busy Busy



Second Grade-Guitars

Second Grade Classes are learning about Pablo Picasso and his artwork that contains guitars! The Second Grade also went over the Warm and Cool Colors. Printing with Rollers, Cutting, and Glueing couldn't ask for more of a Exciting time in ART.








First Grade- Handprints

First Grade created a Printmaking Project by studying Andy Warhol. They mixed the Primary Colors and made the Secondary Colors! Liquid Watercolors are so Bright and Vibrant :)


Fourth Grade-Cakes

The Fourth Grade Classes created Cakes that represented Wayne Thiebaud a Famous Artist. They also went over Tints and Shades! This was an exciting project. Love oil pastels!!





Kindergarten-BubbleGum Machine

The Kindergarten Class is learning about Wayne Thiebaud (Famous Artist) and his wonderful Food/Candy Art. The Kindergarten Class is also going over the Primary Colors and the basic Shapes.

4th Grade-Sculptures

The Fourth Grade Classes are learning about the Famous Artist Louise Nevelson. She created Sculpture pieces. The Fourth Graders are recreating her sculpture pieces by adding found objects with glue on cardboard. They are also painting their piece with one color! (Monochromatic)





3rd Grade-Doughnuts

The Third Grade Classes are learning about Claes Oldenburg (Famous Artist) and how he created AMAZING sculpture pieces. We used paper mâché and talked about soft and hard sculpture pieces!
