Third Grade- Self portraits Mine Craft

IuThe third grade classes are working hard om creating self portraits. But with a TWIST we are all going to be mine craft characters "creepers". Using rulers and being able to make a grid is the  number 1 starting point. I can't wait to see these in the end!! 

Kindergarten- Lollipops

The kindergarten class is learning about Kandinsky circles!! They created lollipops with clay and even have a stick :) they painted team with Watercolors. 

Second Grade- Monet

Second Grade classes are learning about Claude Monet! They created the background with finger painting!!! We used the warm and cool colors and created our frogs! The frogs have a secret ingredient with the paint "salt" to make th skin realistic 

Fifth Grade-Blue Portraits

Fifth Grades are learning about value, monochromatic and Pablo Picasso! They will be smashing their face against a clear window and their photos are taken. "FUN" Tints and Shades is our main focus

Third Grade-LEGO Printing

Third Grade is printing with Legos! Yes LEGOS!! First we are drawing out famous buildings with pencil and then we are recreating those buildings with Legos and white paint. We talk about architecture and how Blue Prints work. Check out our Blue Prints. :)

Fourth Grade-Zentangles

Our Fourth Grade Classes are working on Amazing Zentangles! We Are looking at the artist Gustavo Klimt and focusing our time on recreating his art. But in a super cool way. We brought in magazines and gold paint!
