Art Club

Art Club has been working hard sorting and deciding what objects should be on our bottle cap mural! Thanks to Austyn, Chris, and Noah for bringing in those bottle caps!!!! 

First Grade- Van Gogh Wheat Feilds

Learnig about landscapes and horizontal lines we brought in a wonderful painting by Vincent Van Gogh. Our paintings are coming along!! 

First Grade- Laurel Birch Cats

Because of the snow days Mrs Getz's class has missed a whole project. So they get to do a project that no other First Graders get to have. 3D cats :) 

Fourth Grade- The Wave

Hokusai an artist from Japan is a wonderful printmaker. The fourth grade classes are learning so much in this lesson. Value, Tint, Shade, and Movement. 

Second Grade- Frida Portraits

Learning about Frida Kahlo was extremely fun! Not only did the kids get a laugh when we talked about having One eyebrow. But they loved the story behind how Frida became an Artist. 

Day One:
